Hello All!
Bennett and I wanted to tell everyone about our little man! Finnegan "Finn" Patrick Luke was born Friday, September 11, 2009 at 6:23PM, 5 weeks early- to the day! The day Finn arrived we had a 2 p.m. docters appt in which we were told all was well and we were right on schedule, everything was fine. After our appt we went to the store to get something for dinner then returned home to enjoy a quiet friday evening. At 4 o'clock Finn had a different idea- while napping on the couch my water broke! Bennett was in the shop working on a changing table for the baby who had just decided to make an early entrance- the table was never finished! Finn was born 5 lbs 8 oz, 17 1/2 inches just 2 hours later and went straight to the well baby nursery, he was absolutely perfect!
In the past 10 weeks Finn has thrived beautifully! He is now 10lbs, 6 oz, 21 inches! He loves taking a bath, smiling for his daddy,getting his hair fixed by hisdaddy, having them stankin' britches changed and sleeping through Audubon Park runs!The other day he saw Bryan Batt (of Mad Men) and Christian LeBlanc (of the Young and the Restless) while sleeping during one of our morning runs.
We love Finn, he is the greatest, cutest baby and we are so blessed! We are so excited to raise him in New Orleans and are looking forward to all the good times to come!
