Mardi Gras is such a special time for Bennett and I. We met in 2003 and got engaged in 2004 on the parade route. So we were anxious to see how Finn would react to all the excitment. This year's Mardi Gras was different than any other year, more exciting, crazy, and totally packed with people! Everybody on the parade route was wearing their black and gold! The Saints won the Super Bowl, Drew Brees was the King of Bacchus and Sean Payton was the King of Orpheus is why people packed the streets this year! Another thing that made this Mardi Gras so different is that it was freezing! It snowed on the northshore and at night it was 39 degrees... very un-New Orleans.
